I saw this in a book, figured out why it works and made a base 16 one and this picture. The blog post at http://bit.ly/X2eEDn explains more…
Start with a number, say 251. Work out 2^3 + 5^3 + 1^3 = 134 Work out 1^3 + 3^3 + 4^3 = 92 Work out 0^3 + 9^3 + 2^3 = 737 Work out 7^3 + 3^3 + 7^3 = 713 Work out 7^3 + 1^3 + 3^3 = 371 Work out 3^3 + 7^3 + 1^3 = 371 So that’s the first in the above stack. Then guess that the pattern continues, 33^3 + 67^3 + 1^3 = 336701, 333^3 + 667^3 + 1^3 = 333667001 and so on. There’s another I haven’t posted here, that’s harder to find by this method…Try starting with a few numbers in the low 700’s.
Ooops –Â the one I “haven’t posted” is actually the 407 one. But there’s another loop of 3 that I haven’t posted.
Nice one……did u create this one….I saw ur site…its awesome work… 😀

ohk…will have a look at that….. 🙂
Here’s another….
3^3 + 7^3 + 1^3 =
33^3 + 67^3 + 1^3 =
333^3 + 667^3 + 1^3 =
how do u do these??? Trial and error……??
Start with a number, say 251.
Work out 2^3 + 5^3 + 1^3 = 134
Work out 1^3 + 3^3 + 4^3 = 92
Work out 0^3 + 9^3 + 2^3 = 737
Work out 7^3 + 3^3 + 7^3 = 713
Work out 7^3 + 1^3 + 3^3 = 371
Work out 3^3 + 7^3 + 1^3 = 371
So that’s the first in the above stack.
Then guess that the pattern continues, 33^3 + 67^3 + 1^3 = 336701, 333^3 + 667^3 + 1^3 = 333667001 and so on.
